8seats is free to get started for teams and individuals.
🖥️ Use 8seats in your desktop browser
This is a Table. It’s perfect for a group of people that you work with frequently. It might be your team, or everyone involved in a project. You can include up to 8 people – or even up to 20 with the Business plan. Tables give you one place for all your team and project conversations – all powered by dynamic chat.
These the members of your Table. Simply tap the heads up and down to choose who you want included in the conversation. Every combination of people is a different conversation – and they’re all kept conveniently in one place on your Table.
You can browse through all of your conversations on this Table by swiping left and right. Your conversations are kept in order of how recently each one was last posted to.
Invite other people to your Table by tapping the + button. You can have up to 8 people on your Table, including yourself – or even up to 20 on the 8seats Business plan. No need to worry if they don’t have 8seats yet, all you need is their phone number and we’ll invite them to join you on your Table.
Need to talk to just one person? Simply long hold on their head to quickly jump into a conversation with only them. All the other heads will be pushed down – easier and faster than tapping all one by one!
Rooms are ideal if you have a larger group of people. Rooms on 8seats can support up to 10,000 members, making them a great choice for an all-team chat or a company announcements channel where sub-groups aren’t needed.
DMs are for your quick 1-on-1 chats, or for those one-off group conversations that you don’t use long term – like a Table. DMs can be given subject lines, so you can keep chats organised and find them again later – like email, only better!
Add 8AI to your Tables and Rooms and chat to AI just like another member of your team. Simply type "@8" in a message and 8AI will respond to your prompt or message in the chat.
Activity shows your most recent messages, including conversations on all of your Tables, Rooms and DMs. It’s like your inbox, a good spot to get started or catch up on all your latest messages.

Access extra options with a long hold on a message. You can copy the image or text to the clipboard, share the message to another app, or delete it if you make a mistake. Note that you can only delete your own messages.
